Everything is great, food is good, service.... Besides the bread the servers bring when you first get to the table. I cannot begin to tell you how horrible it is. The bread is hard, cold and has zero flavor. Don't even get me started on the butter packets

First hearing of this restaurant in very south suburbs. I went with another couple for 6pm reservations on a Saturday evening. The place was packed with people waiting for a table. The name of this place is deceiving and so is the outside of the building. This is a supper club establishment and worthy of every praise. The food and service was high line A+. A hidden gem in the south.
Food is delicious- we have tried everything on the menu! Hard to say which is our favorite as everything is great! Chateaubriand is enough for 3 people to share. The photo below is the 3rd portion! My favorites: Chateaubriand, filet, French dip, pork chop, and burger. Servers are very polite. A pleasure coming here!
Food is always excellent. Wait staff is equally as great, anything we requested was brought out with no questions. The hostess was interested that we have been customers since the 70's.
Grew up around this place and am an avid restaurant goer. But somehow just visited the Princess Cafe for the first time. WOW. I can a absolutely see why this place has been around for almost 50 years. We were a party of 5; 3 steak orders, a cheeseburger and a parsley shrimp. All were great. My husband got a special - a bone in ribeye and said it could have used a tad more seasoning. No major issue and He would have easily ignored it BUT for a $68 every little thing counts. This is the one and only reason this isn't a 5 star review. The vibe of this place is SO good - dark, cozy, intimate. And the service - omg. Maybe the best I've ever experienced. So glad we finally visited and we'll for sure be back. No pics included only bc they all came out way too dark bc the dining room is so dim.
